20 Weeks in 20 lines.

First there was the honeymoon up the Central Coast.
We rose after breakfast which meant no eggs or toast.

Halfway through the drive we were as hungry as can be.
We stopped for some soup at Andersen’s, famous for split pea.
A short time later to where we arrive.
A cabin in Cambria is far from a dive.

2 fireplaces, 2 TV’s and not much to do.
We grabbed some dinner and wine and I’ll leave the rest up to you.

A faux castle we visited built by a wannabe king.
It was only fun because I had my queen.

A free massage and a free dinner sums up the rest.
Out of all of our ideas for a honeymoon, this was the best.

Once we were home there was much to do.
So many “thank yous” to everyone we knew.

As life “kicked in” things settled for a while.
Not to the point to take away our smile.

There were some birthdays

Jess got a new job!

We hung out with friends and it was all very grand.

And to top it all off, Jess finally saw Disneyland.
